To sort out my ‘on me at all times’ camera dilemma, I decided to check a few of the local stores for what they had to offer. I was mainly after something small, light and with a large LCD. I really didn’t care much for what MP rating it had - anything over 5MP is really more than enough for blogging and other random snaps.

Once I got to the shop where I finally decided to pick it up, they had quite a few models in stock - but no Exilims. I really spend my time checking through about ten models including one with a funky stylus system/all LCD control system - but do you really want to be tied down to a cam with both hands?

I finally found something decent, and what finally swayed me was the large 3″ LCD, and 7.2MP was already more than I hoped for. During selection I inquired as to what accessories accompanied the unit - not much tbh. Just the usual bundle of chopped trees (paper), charger and battery.

Once I got home I was in for a nice surprise though. I guess this is the added advantage of sticking to items of a similar brand - but it never was intentional. When I got my k750i quite a while back, I had just sold off my Sony PSP, for which I picked up a 2GB Sony Memory StickDuo. At the time of the sale I decided to keep the 2GB card, and sell it off with the stock card I received with the mobile instead.

After I had the battery charged up, which took a while, I wished I had picked up a card of some sorts. But then it hit me - D’oh! A match made in heaven, the 2GB card is now sitting happily inside the camera, with plenty of space at no added cost.
