Hot Stamping is offered as a free service for any LV purchases, and they will even oblige your request at any time during ownership of your products. Some people have got their items hot stamped as far as 2-3 years after purchase.

The same style as above was done on the inside of my Monogram European Chequebook and Card Holder. I also plan to get it done on both my ID holder and Passport wallet in Mono’flage.

The New Bond Street boutique has the equipment necessary to hot stamp bags, however, the smaller items can also be hot stamped at their other stores, including the store on Sloane Street.

A while back I placed a custom order for two Platinum rings, one with a 10pt diamond and one plain band. The latter is 4mm wide with a 64mm dia and placed another order for this to be replicated in 18K rose gold to accompany my Everose DateJust. I got the call that it was ready (after 4 weeks) and collected it today,

I am toying with the idea of having the 4.2mm/64mm dia band with 10pt diamond also replicated in 18K RG; these four rings would make for a very nice ’set’. The DateJust also matches with my Montblanc Boheme in Rose Gold,

I’m hoping to be able to track down the coin purse in Utah leather at some point, which is currently out of stock. Maybe I will get lucky like I did with the Monogram iPhone case and be able to buy it from louisvuitton.com - their service is top notch and all goods ship directly from Paris!

Now to get the ID holder and Mono’flage Passport case hot stamped…

It’s been about a year since most of the LV stores worldwide carried the pouch on the right (in monogram), and one day I was just randomly browsing through the LV online store and there it said ‘in stock’. I Couldn’t believe my eyes, so I ordered it immediately.

Ironically, the day before I was looking at the limited edition Monogramoflage case (on the left) and it said in stock as well; but I wasn’t sure if it had a belt clip at the back like the iPhone case in taiga leather.

Fortunately, it is the ONLY iPhone case to have a silly belt clip fitted, so it was the following day when I saw the monogram pouch in stock, the limited edition case was marked ‘out of stock’. A quick call to LV customer services allowed me to track the last unit at another boutique in London. Once I got across to the store I also bought the passport case in the same limited edition Mono’flage pattern.

On my return home, I noticed that the status of the passport folder on the online store had also just hit ‘out of stock’…coincidence?

The Monogram case arrived directly from Paris via FedEx; super fast delivery and now I have a case for my current iPhone (8GB) and soon to be iPhone3G (16GB). The Monogram case feel a bit tighter than the Mono’flage case; I’m expecting the 3G to fit snuggly in the latter for this reason…

Sure, the Mono’flage pattern does look different and quite frankly I’ve never been a big fan of camo-clothing; but every time I see this ‘flage I can’t help thinking about Solid Snake…hah!
